Our research on Independent Metering (IM) has the potential to revolutionize mobile hydraulics by improving both energy efficiency and control behavior. At #IFK2024 we'll present our new approaches to controlling hydraulic actuators in mobile machines. We’ll discuss different mode shifting techniques, their practical applications, and their potential to improve hydraulic system performance. Our findings, validated by test rig measurements, demonstrate that unnoticeable mode shifting is possible with robust, cost-effective components common in mobile hydraulics.
